Okay. With the summer coming to a close, it’s time for me to start looking at new all season tires. As I’m on a budget, but don’t want generic cheap crap, I’m turning to OPPO for advice.

I’m looking for ones that have exceptional wear endurance, acceptable performance in the wet, and is W-rated. Ordinarily, I would buy Firehawk GT Pursuits, but for a set they are $1600.

The queen still uses 17 inch wheels, the standard for Crown Victoria interceptors. The only brand I will not touch is Goodyear and related manufactures.

Edit: tire size specs is P235/55R17. 85W.

Update: I’m looking at the BFGoodrich g-force COMP-2 All Seasons now. What is your opinion?   !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Kumho Ecsta LX’s or Kumho 4X II’s are, in my opinion the best bang for your buck.

Cheapest tire from a company I’ve heard of and gets pretty decent ratings.  Long life too

I’m personally leaning toward Cooper Tires, CS5 Ultra Touring. Not sure how it compares though.

When I had a CVPI, I liked General Altimax. In general, I like Discount Tire’s Yokohama YK5XX (whatever version they’re on now, last I bought were 580s).

Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 gets my vote $153 per tire, $614 for a set of 4

When I upgrade from my current HANKOOK   VENTUS S1 NOBLE2 (don’t buy these they’re mediocre) that came with my car, I will go for DWS 0 6s

Pirelli P Zero Neros have good reviews and about cheaper by $20 each.

Or you could go a little smaller diameter and a little wider....

lots of good choices in 245 diameter, I like the Falken Ziex in either size (~$100)

Those are part of the same family as the GT Pursuits. Might be worth a look.

Edit: those are summer tires. I need all seasons for the upcoming fall and winter. I drive through fog after the night shift is over. When freezing temps hit, that's going to get gnarly fast.
